At first I didn't care much for the minimalist style but the art improves page after page. Furthermore, in many cases the economy of details leaves to the imagination, which works well to create a disturbing mood. I just didn't really got into the Count Kevin's story, but all the others were satisfying in the way they were presented. Most disturbing to me was Vol 2 Ch 1 Ball of Flesh, as it follows the theme of 'bad things happen to good people' in a gory, cruel and unfair fashion. Of note is the series host, who has a rice bowl with chopsticks for a head. Is rice brain food?
